Excitement Heightens Ahead Of The DAA National Junior Championships.

Track and Field announces it’s return to competition presenting the National Junior Track and Field Championships carded for Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the Benjamins Park in Portsmouth.

The opening session begins at 9:30am with the competition starting shortly after at 10:00am. There will be 50 Track and Field events to be contested in the U17 and U20 categories.

Officials from the Dominica Athletics Association announced the one day meeting as a crucial run-up to major competitions later this summer.

Inevitable, Covid-19 restrictions might affect the ability of some athletes to attend, but the DAA hope that there will be a great showing.
