Gone are the days where one individual, or a group of individuals, they are tied in so many different activities; from coaching to being in administration, to being technical officials, let us try to build capacity,” Williams stressed.

In further addressing the committee the newly elected president emphasized the need to make Track and Field a dominant force in Dominica. “Let us work together; we have a group of young and energetic individuals, as well as experienced persons. So let us just work together for the development of the sport, and I give you my full commitment to do my best to develop track and field from a grass roots level, to all the way to a senior level,” he stated.

An excited Williams is confident that his executive will effectively carry out the mandate of track and field in Dominica for the next four years.
